A lane closure is planned on the Interstate 40 Bridge over the Mississippi River Sunday, September 24 through Thursday, October 5 for routine maintenance.

The eastbound outside lane will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. as bridge crews perform routine maintenance.

Traffic will be controlled with the use of barrels, message boards, and signage.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
