Lane Closures Scheduled on Interstate 30 in Saline County for Pavement Repair

SALINE COUNTY | February 5, 2024

Weather permitting, Interstate 30 (I-30) westbound will require alternating single-lane closures west of the I-30/Highway 70 interchange in Saline County for pavement repairs.

I-30 will be reduced to one open lane from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday night, February 6, through Thursday morning, February 8. The lane closures will occur

During overnight hours Wednesday, February 7, the Highway 70 ramp to I-30 westbound will be closed. Highway 70 traffic to I-30 westbound will follow the signed detour to I-30 eastbound and Exit 114 (Hwy. 67/229) and return to I-30 westbound. See detour map NR 24-028-A for more information

Traffic will be controlled with construction barricades, traffic barrels and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds.

This project (Job CA0601) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 5.5 miles of Interstate 30 to three lanes in each direction, from the interchange with U.S. Highway 70 (Exit 111) to Sevier Street in Benton (Exit 116). The project also includes improvements at the Highway 67 interchange (Exit 114). More information on this $187.3 million project is available at ConnectingArkansasProgram.com.
