The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) will conduct a public involvement meeting Thursday, March 14 from 4-7 p.m., to present the detailed design plans for the Corning Bypass – a 4.1-mile new location roadway extending north from Highway 62/67 west of Corning and terminating north of Corning on Highway 67 in Clay County. The bypass would be a fully controlled access facility designed to interstate standards.
The in-person meeting will be held at the M.B. Ainley Community Center (Gym), 538 E. Elm Street in Corning.

The public may view meeting materials and provide written comments online beginning Friday, March 8. Comments will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 29.
A Spanish translation of the presentation will be available on the website.
