Alternating lane closures are scheduled in the eastbound and westbound directions from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily Monday, April 1 through Friday, April 12 for a routine bridge inspection.

Weather permitting, bridge crews will inspect U.S. Highway 64 across the Arkansas River in Fort Smith.

Traffic will be controlled with the use of cones and signage.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
