ARDOT to Host Location and Design Public Hearing for Proposed New Roadway Connecting Highway 90 and Highway 67 North of Pocahontas

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), with support from ARDOT consultant Garver, will conduct a Location and Design Public Hearing Tuesday, July 23 from 4-7 p.m. to present and discuss the proposed new roadway connecting Highway 90 and Highway 67 north of Pocahontas in Randolph County.

The in-person hearing will be held at the Pocahontas Community Center (Gym), 300 Geneva Dr., Pocahontas, Arkansas. This is an “open house” meeting with no formal presentations.

The preliminary design plans and Environmental Assessment are available for public review and comment, online and in-person, beginning Sunday, June 23 until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the following locations:
