MISSISSIPPI COUNTY | August 9, 2024

Highway 148 will be closed around the clock beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, August 12, through Thursday, August 29, near Lowden, southwest of Blytheville.

Weather permitting, crews will replace a bridge between Highway 181 and Interstate 55 (I-55).

Highway 148 will be open to local traffic only. Signed detours will be in place using the following highways:

• Highway 181
• Highway 158
• I-55

Traffic will be controlled with the use of barrels and signage.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
