SALINE COUNTY | September 5, 2024
Construction to widen Interstate 30 (I-30) to six lanes in Saline County requires a temporary closure of the I-30 frontage road west of Highway 229 from 7 p.m. Friday, September 6 through 5 a.m. Monday, September 9.
Weather permitting, crews will close the I-30 frontage road between Highway 229 and Mountain View Elementary School for drainage work. Traffic will be unable to access the frontage road from Highway 229 during this closure and will follow the signed detour. See attached detour map NR 24-282-A for additional information.
- Highway 229 to Frontage Road. Traffic will take the on-ramp to I-30 west, take Exit 111 (Highway 70), and take the first right to access the frontage road.
This project (Job CA0601) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 5.5 miles of Interstate 30 to three lanes in each direction, from the interchange with U.S. Highway 70 (Exit 111) to Sevier Street in Benton (Exit 116). The project also includes improvements at the Highway 67 interchange (Exit 114). More information on this $187.3 million project is available at ConnectingArkansasProgram.com.
