U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to Temporarily Close Highway 25 Across Greers Ferry Dam

CLEBURNE COUNTY | November 18, 2024

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will temporarily close Highway 25 across the Greers Ferry Dam from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly Monday night, November 18, through Thursday morning, November 21.

The closure will allow crews to perform routine maintenance on the dam.

One lane of traffic will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

The closure has been coordinated with local emergency management officials and law enforcement agencies.

A signed detour will use Highways 16, 92, and 25.

Lane closures will be controlled by traffic signals. The full highway closure will be controlled by signage.
