SALINE COUNTY | January 31, 2025
Construction to widen Interstate 30 (I-30) to six lanes in Saline County requires two alternating ramp closures at the I-30/Highway 70 interchange from 9 p.m. Monday, February 3 through 6 a.m. Tuesday, February 4.
Weather permitting, crews will alternately close the I-30 exit ramp to Highway 70 and the Highway 70 east entrance ramp to I-30 to allow for movement of barrier walls.
Signed detours will be in place to navigate around the ramp closure. See detour map NR 25-020-A and NR 25-020-B for more information.
- I-30 east to Highway 70 detour. Traffic will continue to I-30 east, take Exit 114, return to I-30 west using the underpass, and take Exit 111 to access Highway 70.
- Highway 70 to I-30 west detour. Traffic will take the on-ramp to I-30 east, take Exit 114 (Highway 67/229), and return to I-30 west.
Traffic will be controlled with message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds. Areas adjacent to the Interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.
This project (Job CA0601) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 5.5 miles of Interstate 30 to three lanes in each direction, from the interchange with U.S. Highway 70 (Exit 111) to Sevier Street in Benton (Exit 116). The project also includes improvements at the Highway 67 interchange (Exit 114). More information on this $187.3 million project is available at ConnectingArkansasProgram.com.
