Striping Work Requires Overnight Alternating Exit Ramp Closures on Interstate 30 in Saline County

SALINE COUNTY | June 30, 2025

Pavement operations on Interstate 30 (I-30) in Saline County require intermittent exit ramp closures from 9 p.m. Monday, June 30 through 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 1.

Weather permitting, overnight striping work will require alternating, temporary closures of several exit ramps along I-30. The work will begin on the westbound side of I-30, with each exit ramp closed for approximately one hour. Once all westbound ramps are completed, crews will proceed to the eastbound ramps. No two ramps will be closed at the same time. Signage will be posted in advance of each closure and drivers are encouraged to use alternate ramps during the closures.

Affected Ramps on I-30 Eastbound and Westbound:

  • Exit 116 – Sevier Street / South Street
  • Exit 114 – Highway 67 / Highway 229
  • Exit 111 – Highway 70

Traffic will be controlled with construction barrels and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds. Areas adjacent to the Interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.

This project (Job CA0601) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 5.5 miles of Interstate 30 to three lanes in each direction, from the interchange with U.S. Highway 70 (Exit 111) to Sevier Street in Benton (Exit 116). The project also includes improvements at the Highway 67 interchange (Exit 114). More information on this $187.3 million project is available at ConnectingArkansasProgram.com.
