for improvements to a roadway in Woodruff County, according to Arkansas Department of
Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

The purpose of this project is to replace a bridge structure on State Highway 17 near Howell.

Kesser International, Inc. of Little Rock was awarded the contract at $764,772.80.

Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is
expected in mid 2019.

CROSS COUNTY (1-28) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for
improvements to a roadway in Cross County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation
(ARDOT) officials.

The purpose of this project is to construct a northbound passing lane on State Highway 1 near
Cherry Valley.

Asphalt Producers, LLC of Jonesboro was awarded the contract at $1,712,174.48.

Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is
expected in mid 2019.

improvements to a roadway in Phillips County, according to Arkansas Department of
Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

The purpose of this project is to replace one bridge structure on State Highway 85 over Beaver
Bayou.

Central Arkansas Contractors, Inc. of Little Rock was awarded the contract at $1,597,916.09.

expected in late 2019.

The purpose of this project is to replace two bridge structures with reinforced box culverts on State
Highway 241 over Cypress Creek, north of Clarendon.

Seagraves Construction, Inc. of Pocahontas was awarded the contract at $1,480,745.50.

The purpose of this project is to resurface approximately 12.1 miles of U.S. Highway 70 from the
St. Francis County line, eastward to State Highway 77.

APAC-Tennessee, Inc. of Memphis, Tennessee, was awarded the contract at $5,555,825.67.

County line, southward.

Hutchens Construction Company of Cassville, Missouri, was awarded the contract at
$3,945,054.12.

The purpose of this project is to construct an ultrathin course overlay on State Highway 35,
extending from State Highway 190 northward to Holly Creek.

from Dalark eastward toward Manning.

The purpose of this project is to widen approximately 8 miles of U.S. Highway 65 to four lanes.
The improvements extend from Clinton northward to State Highway 110.

Bobby Kennedy Construction Company of Quitman was awarded the contract at $33,984,382.53.

River, and one on County Road 213 over Mill Creek.
