WOODRUFF COUNTY (10-29) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid
for improvements to a roadway in Woodruff County, according to Arkansas Department of
Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
The purpose of this project is to replace an existing bridge and construct a new box culvert on State
Highway 33 near Little Dixie.
Seagraves Construction, Inc. of Pocahontas was awarded the contract at $809,127.49.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is
expected in mid 2019.

CRAWFORD & SEBASTIAN COUNTIES (10-29) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission
has approved a bid for improvements to a roadway in Crawford & Sebastian Counties, according
to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
The purpose of this project is to resurface the main lanes and perform bridge rehabilitation on
Interstate 40 and Interstate 540 from the Oklahoma state line, extending eastward.
APAC-Central, Inc. of Fayetteville was awarded the contract at $53,245,516.85.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is
expected in early 2020.

improvements to a roadway in Izard County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation
(ARDOT) officials.
The purpose of this project is to replace a bridge structure with a concrete box culvert on State
Highway 223 over Little Brushy Creek.
R.L. Persons Construction, Inc. of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, was awarded the contract at
$1,910,640.00.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is
expected in late 2019.

PULASKI COUNTY (10-29) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for
improvements to a roadway in Pulaski County, according to Arkansas Department of
Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
The purpose of this project is to construct a new interchange on Interstate 40 at Maumelle.
Improvements will include four new interchange ramps and widening on Counts Massie Road.
McGeorge Contracting Company, Inc. of Pine Bluff was awarded the contract at $14,578,035.84.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is
expected in late 2019.

The purpose of this project is to add left lanes and a two-way left turn lane to sections of State
Highway 9 north of Morrilton.
Crow Paving, Inc. of Morrilton was awarded the contract at $6,467,559.67.

expected in late 2019.

The purpose of this project is to construct an overpass on State Highway 18 over the BNSF
Railroad in Jonesboro.
Capital Paving and Construction, LLC of Jefferson City, Missouri, was awarded the contract at
$25,182,888.88.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is
expected in late 2021.

to the Bella Vista Bypass.
Creative Design Concepts, LLC of Van Buren was awarded the contract at $9,981,545.25.
