CRITTENDEN & POINSETT COUNTIES (11-9) – Improvements being made to
Interstate 555 must have temporary ramp closures and detours at Gilmore, according to
Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close the exit ramp at Turrell for I-555 northbound (Exit 23)
starting at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 12 and continuing through 5:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, November 24.

Traffic traveling northbound on I-55 from West Memphis towards Marked Tree or Jonesboro
will need to exit at Turrell (Exit 21) and proceed north on the I-55 frontage road. The I-55
Exit to Turrell, Marked Tree, and Jonesboro (Exit 23) will only allow access to Turrell while
the crews rehabilitate the pavement of the flyover to Marked Tree and Jonesboro (see
attached map).

Traffic will be controlled by traffic barrels and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. You can also follow us on Twitter @myARDOT.
