Improvements to Highway 91 to Cause Temporary Highway Closure

LAWRENCE COUNTY | August 26, 2022

The removal of old corrugated metal pipes and installation of new ones for a cross-drain on Highway 91 seven miles north of Egypt will result in a temporary closure of the highway.

Weather permitting; crews will close Highway 91 immediately north of Egypt starting Tuesday morning, August 30, at 8 a.m. to replace deteriorating corrugated metal pipes at the location.  This closure is expected to last one day.  Drivers should use alternate routes for travel to their destination.
