CARROLL COUNTY (11-3) – Maintenance work by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the
Beaver Dam involves the temporary closure of both lanes of Highway 187, according to
Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will close both lanes of the Highway
187 Bridge across Beaver Dam from 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 5 through 6:00
p.m. on Friday, November 6. This closure will allow the Corps to remove stoplogs from one
of the dam’s intake gates.
