CARROLL COUNTY (11-10) – Maintenance work by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the Beaver Dam involves the temporary closure of the northbound lane of Highway 187, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have closed the northbound lane of the Highway 187 Bridge across Beaver Dam and this closure will remain in place until Tuesday, February 9. This closure will allow the Corps to repair components on the downstream face of the dam and traffic will be managed by a temporary traffic signal system.
