| WHY: | This event celebrates the completion of the western portion of the Highway 412 Bypass near Paragould. Construction of the 5.2 miles of new, two-lane roadway began in 2017 with a $12.8 million contract. This new route connects Highway 412 West to Highway 49 South, completing a bypass and improving the flow of traffic around the City of Paragould. |
