CRITTENDEN COUNTY | September 8, 2023

The routine inspection of the Interstate 40 Mississippi River (Hernando de Soto) Bridge will require single outside lane closures during daytime hours Monday through Thursday.

This is a hands-on inspection performed by ARDOT that began Tuesday, September 5th.  Due to the inspection proceeding ahead of schedule, westbound lane closures may begin as early as Monday, September 11.     

Weather permitting, the inspection will be completed in approximately two weeks.

Only one lane of traffic will be closed at a time and will be limited to the following times:

• Eastbound outside lane: Mon-Thurs | 8:30 a.m. – 4:30p.m.
• Westbound outside lane: Mon-Thurs | 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
