N. Bailey Boulevard Long-Term Closure Scheduled in Jacksonville

PULASKI COUNTY | October 20, 2023

Construction to widen Highway 67 to six lanes between Main Street and Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville requires the closure of N. Bailey Boulevard between TP White Drive and Monroe Drive from October 24 through January 31, 2024.

This closure will allow construction crews to perform paving operations. Traffic wishing to access N. Bailey Boulevard will need to follow the signed detours. See attached detour map NR 23-334-A for additional information.

TP White Drive traffic detour

  • North on TP White Drive
  • East on Gregory Place
  • South on North 1st Street
  • West on W. Martin Street to N. Bailey Boulevard

N. James Street traffic detour

  • East on W. Martin Street to N. Bailey Boulevard

Traffic will be controlled with traffic drums and detour signs. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds. Areas adjacent to the Interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.  

This project (Job CA0604) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 2.5 miles of Highway 67 to six lanes, between Main Street (Exit 9) and Vandenberg Boulevard (Exit 11) in Jacksonville. The project also includes improvements at the James Street interchange (Exit 10A), the Gregory Street Interchange (Exit 10B), the Vandenberg Boulevard interchange (Exit 11), and conversion of the Frontage roads from two-way to one-way.
