Overnight Ramp Closures Scheduled at Interstate 30/Highway 67 in Saline County

SALINE COUNTY | October 6, 2023

Construction to widen Interstate 30 (I-30) to six lanes in Saline County requires ramp closures for the I-30 eastbound exit to Highway 67 during overnight hours Monday, October 9 through Saturday, October 14.

Weather permitting, crews will close the I-30 eastbound exit ramp to Highway 67 (Exit 114) between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night. This closure will allow crews to perform drainage work adjacent to the exit ramp.

I-30 eastbound traffic will be unable to use the Highway 67 exit ramp (Exit 114) during this closure and will need to follow the signed detours. See attached detour map NR 23-343-A. The detour is as follows:

  • East on I-30 to Exit 116 (Sevier and South streets)
  • North on South Street Bridge
  • West on I-30 to Exit 114 (Highway 67 South)

Traffic will be controlled with message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds. Areas adjacent to the Interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.

This project (Job CA0601) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 5.5 miles of Interstate 30 to three lanes in each direction, from the interchange with U.S. Highway 70 (Exit 111) to Sevier Street in Benton (Exit 116). The project also includes improvements at the Highway 67 interchange (Exit 114). More information on this $187.3 million project is available at ConnectingArkansasProgram.com.
