CROSS COUNTY | November 2, 2023

The Highway 42 bridge that crosses the St. Francis River near Coldwater was closed Thursday following a routine inspection.

The bridge will be fully closed while maintenance crews make repairs.

The following detours have been established:

• Eastbound traffic on Highway 42 will detour south on Highway 75 then east on Highway 64 to Highway 149

• Westbound traffic on Highway 42 will detour south on Highway 149 then west on Highway 64 to Highway 75 North

Traffic will be controlled with the use of barrels, message boards, and signage.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
