YELL COUNTY (9-18) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for
improvements to a roadway in Yell County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation
(ARDOT) officials.

The purpose of this project is to repair flood damage to 1.6 miles of State Highway 155.

Curtis Construction, Inc. of Russellville was awarded the contract at $1,088,953.22.

Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is
expected in early 2020.

SEARCY COUNTY (9-18) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for
improvements to a roadway in Searcy County, according to Arkansas Department of
Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

The purpose of this project is to repair .88 miles of slide damage on State Highway 377.

Marion County Paving, LLC of Summit was awarded the contract at $1,630,972.25.

Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is
expected in early 2020.

SCOTT COUNTY (9-18) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for
improvements to a roadway in Scott County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation
(ARDOT) officials.

The purpose of this project is resurface 23.5 miles of State Highway 28 between U.S. Highway 71
and the Yell County line.

Blackstone Construction, LLC of Russellville was awarded the contract at $8,373,336.13.

Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is
expected in mid 2020.

The purpose of this project is resurface 24.4 miles of State Highway 80 between Waldron and the
Yell County line.

APAC-Central, Inc. of Fayetteville was awarded the contract at $8,498,763.70.

Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is
expected in mid 2020.

WHITE COUNTY (9-18) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for
improvements to a roadway in White County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation
(ARDOT) officials.

The purpose of this project is widen shoulders, flatten curves, and widen selected sections from
two to three lanes on State Highway 36 between Joy and Searcy.

Bobby Kennedy Construction Company of Quitman was awarded the contract at $8,910,117.51.

expected in mid 2021.

The purpose of this project is to replace a bridge on State Highway 56 over the Strawberry River.

West Plains Bridge & Grading, LLC of West Plains, Missouri, was awarded the contract at
$3,393,000.00.

over English Creek.

West Plains Bridge & Grading, LLC of West Plains, Missouri, was awarded the contract at
$2,680,000.00.

171 at Dee Bayou.

McGeorge Contracting Company, Inc. of Pine Bluff was awarded the contract at $1,065,862.90.

The purpose of this project is to build a noise barrier wall on the south side of Interstate 40 between
Siebenmorgen Road and Mill Street in Conway.

Manhattan Road & Bridge Company of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was awarded the contract at
$2,854,479.00.

M & T Paving & Construction Company, Inc. of Forrest City was awarded the contract at
$229,985.37.
