PULASKI COUNTY (01-03) – Construction work to widen U.S. Highway 67 between
Jacksonville and Cabot requires overnight lane closures in Pulaski County, according to
Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, the outside lane of northbound U.S. Highway 67 will be closed beginning
at Vandenberg Boulevard and continuing for approximately half a mile, reducing traffic to
one open lane. The lane will be closed Friday night, January 4 at 8:00 p.m. through
Saturday, January 5, at 1:00 p.m. Depending on inclement weather, this closure may be
scheduled for next week. This closure will permit crews to place concrete median barriers.
Traffic will be controlled with construction barrels and signage.

This project (Job CA0605) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes
widening 4.6 miles of U.S. Highway 67 from Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville to State
Highway 5 in Cabot. The highway is being widened to three lanes in each direction. More
