Lane Closures Scheduled on Highway 9 Over Harris Creek for Bridge Replacement

PERRY COUNTY | October 8, 2024

Highway 9 (N. Fourche Avenue) over Harris Creek, just north of Perryville, will be reduced to one lane around the clock beginning Wednesday, October 9, and lasting until late summer 2025.

Weather permitting, the closures will allow crews to replace the existing bridge with a box culvert.

Traffic will alternate over a new portion of the box culvert in a single lane controlled with a temporary traffic signal as crews work to complete the new structure.

Traffic will be controlled with temporary traffic signals, traffic drums, barricades, and signage. Travelers should be on the lookout for reduced speed limits through this work zone and expect delays.

Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov.
