The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) is adding an additional alternative for consideration in the Cave Springs/Bentonville area for the proposed Highway 112 Improvements Project. The addition of this alternative is in response to comments received at the public involvement meetings. A Design Layout for the project alternatives in this area can be viewed on the Department’s website at the following address:

Additionally, adjustments have been made to the alternative around Cave Springs in response to comments from the public meetings and through coordination with local officials. The modified alternative around Cave Springs can be viewed on the Department’s website at the following address:

The new alternative in the Cave Springs/Bentonville area and the modified alternative around Cave Springs will be evaluated in the Environmental Assessment that is currently being completed. The public will have an opportunity to comment on the Highway 112 updates at a public hearing in 2022.
