PULASKI COUNTY | November 19, 2024
Construction to widen Highway 67/167 (Interstate 57) to six lanes between Main Street and Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville requires a full highway closure between the North James Street off- and on-ramps from 8 p.m. Tuesday night, November 19, through 5 a.m. Wednesday, November 20.
Weather permitting, crews will close all northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 67/167 (I-57) at North James Street (Exit 10A). This closure will allow crews to perform pavement work (northbound) and drainage work (southbound).
Traffic will exit at North James Street (Exit 10A) to the frontage road and return to the Highway at the next on-ramp to Highway 67/167 (I-57).
In addition to the full closure Tuesday night, overnight lane closures will be in place the rest of the week along Highway 67/167 (I-57) between Main Street and Vandenberg Boulevard. The lane closures will be in place from 8 p.m. through 5 a.m. nightly through Sunday morning, November 24.
Traffic will be controlled with message boards, construction barrels, and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds.
