POPE COUNTY (7-6) – Maintenance work requires a temporary lane closure on
U.S. Highway 64 near Pottsville, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation
(ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, on Tuesday, July 10 and Wednesday, July 11 crews will restrict
traffic to one lane on U.S. Highway 64 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. between Pottsville and
Atkins. The closure will allow crews to repair the asphalt of the roadway.

Traffic will be controlled with flaggers and traffic cones. Drivers should exercise caution
when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel
