BENTON COUNTY (10-22) – Construction work requires alternating lane closures on the
State Highway 12 Bridge over Beaver Lake in Benton County, according to Arkansas
Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close one lane of the Beaver Lake Bridge on State Highway
12 east of Rogers for bridge deck rehabilitation. The closure will begin at 9:00 a.m. on
Tuesday, October 23 when one lane of the bridge will be closed for hydro-demolition and
deck resurfacing. The work requiring one lane of traffic over the bridge will alternate
between the eastbound and westbound lanes, and is expected to take three weeks to
complete.

American Contracting & Services, Inc. was awarded this bridge deck rehabilitation contract
for $1,066,110.00

Traffic over the bridge will be controlled with a temporary traffic signal, signage, and
channelization devices. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling
