Routine Bridge Inspection Requires
Alternating Lane Closures in Benton

SALINE COUNTY (11-5) – A routine bridge inspection over the Saline River requires
alternating lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT)
officials.

Weather permitting, crews will perform alternating lane closures on State Highway 229 over
the Saline River Wednesday, November 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Traffic will be controlled with signage and traffic barrels. Drivers should exercise caution
when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel
