Unexpected Repair Work Requires Lane Closure on Highway 265 in Springdale

BENTON & WASHINGTON COUNTIES (4-4) – Unexpected repair work requires a lane
closure on State Highway 265 near the intersection of Randall Wobbe Ln. in Springdale,
according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

During construction an AT&T fiber line was damaged and repairs require closing the
southbound lane of State Highway 265 for the 4 days repairs are expected to take.

Weather permitting; crews will close the southbound lane of State Highway 265 near the
intersection of Randall Wobbe Ln. in Springdale starting on Thursday, April 4 and
continuing through Sunday, April 7. Northbound and southbound traffic will alternate
through the work zone.

Motorists should avoid the area if possible. Traffic will be controlled by signage and flaggers.
Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work
