SEBASTIAN COUNTY (6-27) – A routine bridge inspection over the Arkansas River requires
an alternating lane closure, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT)
officials.

Weather permitting, crews will perform a lane closure on Interstate 540 that will begin in
the southbound outside lane and transition to the northbound outside lane from 7:00 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m., Sunday, June 30.

Traffic will be controlled by signage and traffic barrels. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
