LONOKE COUNTY (7-31) – Median maintenance requires alternating lane closures on
Interstate 40, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will perform alternating lane closures of the eastbound and
westbound inside lanes of I-40 between Kerr Road and Carlisle from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 1.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic barrels and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
