COLUMBIA COUNTY (8-2) – Maintenance work on State Highway 160 in the town of Taylor
will require a temporary closure in front of Taylor Elementary School, according to Arkansas
Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close a small section of State Highway 160 in front of Taylor
Elementary School from 7:00 a.m. on Monday, August 5 until work is complete, which is
expected to be early afternoon on the same day. No through traffic will be allowed and
motorists traveling north on State Highway 371 will continue north towards Magnolia and
then take State Highway 19 south toward Macedonia to return to State Highway 160.

Traffic will be controlled by signage and traffic cones. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
