Improvements on Interstate 40 Will Require Temporary Lane Closures in North Little Rock

PULASKI COUNTY (7-28) – Improvements on Interstate 40 will require temporary lane
closures in North Little Rock, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT)
officials.

Weather permitting, crews will put closures in place for the outside and then inside lane of
westbound I-40 between U.S. Highway 67 (mile marker 155) and Springhill Drive (mile
marker 156) on Wednesday, July 29 from 9:00 p.m. that evening to 5:00 a.m. the
following morning
. These closures will allow crews to replace overhead signage.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic cones and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when
approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information
