CRITTENDEN COUNTY (8-21) – A routine inspection of the Interstate 55 Mississippi River
Bridge requires alternating lane closures between West Memphis and Memphis, according
to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will put the following lane closures into place on the I-55 Bridge
over the Mississippi River:

• Outside SB Lane | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Monday 24 – Wednesday 26
• Outside NB Lane | 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Tuesday 25 – Thursday 27

Traffic will be controlled by traffic cones, signage, and Highway Police. Drivers should
exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
