CRITTENDEN COUNTY (10-16) – Maintenance work on the Interstate 40 overpass that
crosses Highway 147 will require overnight lane closures on Highway 147 in the
unincorporated community of Lehi (just west of West Memphis), according to Arkansas
Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close the southbound lane of Highway 147 at the I-40
overpass (Exit 271) nightly between Monday and Thursday from 7:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
the following morning, starting on Monday, October 19. This closure will not allow traffic traveling west on I-40 to use Exit 271 to travel south on Highway 147. Traffic traveling southbound on Highway 147 will need to find an alternate route.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic cones, barricades, and signage. Drivers should exercise
caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. You can also follow us on Twitter @myARDOT.
