Improvements Mean Daily Closure of the Arkansas River Navigation Channel

PULASKI COUNTY (4-2) – The U.S. Coast Guard has advised that the navigation channel will be closed under the Interstate 430 bridge, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, the closure will occur at the I-430 Arkansas River Bridge (Nautical Mile 126.6), from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day between Tuesday, April 6 through Saturday, April 10. The closures are due to work that is scheduled to be performed on the bridge above the channel.  No vessels may transit the area during this time.   Updated navigation notices will be issued as the closure dates approach and if the dates or times are revised.
