Improvements to Bridges in Randolph and Lawrence Counties Mean Temporary Lane Closures

RANDOLPH & LAWRENCE COUNTIES (4-30) – Rehabilitation of two bridges in Randolph and Lawrence counties will mean temporary lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will reduce the following bridges to a single lane of traffic starting on Wednesday, at 6:00 a.m.:

  • Hwy 63 | Spring River Bridge just south of Ravenden
  • Hwy 67 | Gar Slough Bridge, halfway between Reyno and Biggers

These closures will allow crews to rehabilitate the bridge pavement and will continue 24 hours daily until work is completed. Traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals and signage.

Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. You can also follow us on Twitter @IDriveArkansas for traffic and @myARDOT for everything else.
