PULASKI COUNTY (9-22) – A second eastbound lane will be striped on 4th Street between Cumberland Street and the southbound Interstate 30 frontage road in Little Rock during overnight hours Tuesday, September 28, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, crews will re-stripe 4th Street for approximately four blocks in downtown Little Rock, changing this section of city street to three lanes. This is a permanent configuration as part of the 30 Crossing project.
This traffic pattern change requires the removal of street parking in this section of 4th Street. In addition, new 4th Street traffic signals at River Market Avenue and Rock Street will be operational.
Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. A long-term and permanent travel impact interactive map is available at 30Crossing.com, along with additional project information. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. You can also follow us on Twitter @IDriveArkansas for traffic and @myARDOT for everything else.
