PULASKI COUNTY (10-1) – Continued work on Interstate 30 in Little Rock and North Little Rock will involve lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting; the following travel impacts will occur the week of October 4. In general, daytime lane closures will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and overnight lane closures will occur between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Areas with double-lane closures will generally be limited to 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Daytime
- Sherman Street (full closure) between 3rd and 4th Streets beginning at 5 a.m. in Little Rock; detour signed
- I-30 Frontage Roads between 3rd and 10th Streets in Little Rock
- 3rd and 4th Street intersections with Rock Street and River Market Avenue in
Little Rock
Overnight
- I-30/I-40 ramps or lanes within the north terminal in North Little Rock
- I-30 between Roosevelt Road in Little Rock and Bishop Lindsey Avenue in North Little Rock; Roosevelt Road entrance and exit ramps for I-30 eastbound closed on select nights with detour signed
- I-30 Frontage Road between 7th and 10th Streets in Little Rock
- I-630 eastbound ramp to I-30 eastbound (full closure) in Little Rock; detour signed
24-hour
- 2nd Street eastbound (full closure) between River Market Avenue and Sherman Street from October 4 through October 14 in Little Rock; detour signed
- Sherman Street (full closure) between 2nd and 3rd Streets in Little Rock from October 4 through October 11; detour signed
- River Market Avenue (full closure) between 2nd and 3rd Streets in Little Rock from October 11 through October 14; detour signed
Traffic will be controlled by construction barrels and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
