SEBASTIAN COUNTY | July 11, 2023

Repairs to the deck of the Garrison Avenue Bridge over the Arkansas River on Highway 64 in Fort Smith are scheduled to begin Monday, July 17.  This work will require a continuous lane closure in each direction until the project is complete.  The project is expected to be completed in approximately six months.

Traffic will be controlled with the use of barrels, message boards, and signage.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
