PULASKI COUNTY | January 9, 2024
Construction on the new I-30 bridge to I-630 in Little Rock will require the closure of the I-30 westbound ramp to I-630 from 10 p.m. Friday, January 19 through 5 p.m. Sunday, January 21.
Crews will close the I-30 westbound ramp to I-630 (Exit 139B) in order to move traffic onto newly constructed lanes on the new bridge. Westbound traffic on I-30 seeking to merge onto I-630 will detour to Roosevelt Road (Exit 139A), return on I-30 eastbound, and access I-630 westbound (Exit 139B). See detour map NR 24-010-A for additional information.
The I-30 westbound ramp to 6th Street (Exit 140B) will remain open to traffic. Later in January, there will be a full closure of the frontage road southbound ramp to I-30 westbound over a weekend to demolish the existing I-30 westbound to I-630 structure.
Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones. A long-term and permanent travel impact interactive map is available at 30Crossing.com, along with additional project information.
