The Highway 148 bridge between North County Road 447 and North County Road 471 near Blytheville is scheduled to close around the clock from 8 a.m. Monday, June 23, through 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 2.

Weather permitting, the closure will allow crews to replace the bridge. The highway will remain open to local traffic only on either side of the closure. A signed detour will be in place.

Westbound traffic will detour using Highway 148 east to Interstate 55 south to Highway 158 west to highway 181 north. Eastbound traffic will take Highway 148 west to Highway 181 south to Highway 158 east to Interstate 55 north.

Digital message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage will be in place to notify motorists of the closures.
