A routine inspection of the Interstate 55 Bridge over the Mississippi River near Memphis will require temporary outside lane closures.

Weather permitting, bridge inspection crews will close the northbound outside lane from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday from August 7 to August 24 between mile markers 1.2 and 2.

Traffic will be controlled with the use of barrels, message boards, and signage.
