Construction to widen Interstate 30 to six lanes in Saline County requires ramp closures for the Highway 67 on-ramp to I-30 eastbound during overnight hours Tuesday, August 22 and Wednesday, August 23 in Benton.

Weather permitting, crews will close the Highway 67 on-ramp to I-30 eastbound between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. both nights. This closure will allow crews to place a barrier wall for an
upcoming traffic shift onto a new ramp alignment.

Highway 67 traffic will be unable to use the I-30 eastbound on-ramp during this closure and will need to follow the signed detours. See attached detour map NR 23-283-A. The detour is as follows:

• West on Frontage Rd (north of I-30)
• West on I-30 to Exit 106 (Old Military Road)
• South on overpass toward I-30 east on-ramp
• East on I-30

Traffic will be controlled with message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds. Areas adjacent to the Interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.

This project (Job CA0601) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 5.5 miles of Interstate 30 to three lanes in each direction, from the interchange with U.S. Highway 70 (Exit 111) to Sevier Street in Benton (Exit 116).
