SALINE COUNTY | October 6, 2023

Alternating lane closures are planned in the northbound and southbound directions of Highway 229, just north of Interstate 30 (I-30) and ending at King Road, beginning Monday, October 9.

Weather permitting, crews will conduct full-depth shoulder reconstruction and paving operations.

The project work will be conducted daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is expected to be completed by mid-October.

Traffic will be controlled with the use of barrels, message boards, and signage.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
